According to folk wisdom By changing your hair color, you will change your destiny. Thanks to the variety of modern colors, it is not at all difficult to turn into a frivolous blonde, a fatal brunette or a charming red-haired beast, and look ten years younger, removing gray hair like in a fairy tale - with one movement of the hand. The dyeing process is so simple that it can be easily done at home; you just need to strictly follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Isn’t it tempting to save on visiting a salon by independently achieving the same effect that the professionals promise us? This review of the most popular lines of hair dyes from famous cosmetic brands will help you make a choice and bring the most fashionable trends into your image. But first, a few recommendations.

We dye our hair at home

Arm yourself with a brush, a wide-tooth comb, clamps, and be sure to wear the gloves included in the kit so that paint marks that cannot be washed off for a long time do not remain on your hands. Carry out a preliminary skin sensitivity test as described in the instructions. It is necessary to avoid unwanted consequences. If the test is passed and you are convinced that the paint tone is chosen correctly, proceed to painting.

First, treat the hair roots, starting from the back of the head. Separating strand by strand, move towards the forehead. For convenience, first divide the entire mop into four parts (two each in front and back), securing them with clamps. When all the strands at the roots are colored, wait 20 minutes and continue coloring, now along the entire length, again starting from the back of the head.

The next procedure is just as simple: comb the strands with a sparse comb, apply the dye evenly, and twist each strand with a rope. This will ensure that there are no unpainted areas left. To prevent the paint from drying out, massage your head periodically. After the allotted time has passed, rinse your hair first in a stream of water until the streams become completely transparent, then with shampoo. Be sure to use a fixing balm, which will complete the dyeing process and enhance the durability of the paint.

The shorter shelf life of the paint is due to the lack of ammonia in its composition. However, such a drawback is easy to forgive, given the minimal harm that the product causes to the hair.

L'Oréal Preference

The famous paint guarantees a long-lasting effect and is highly expensive due to its belonging to the elite class. The famous concern L'Oreal claims that the color will not lose saturation for two months.

L'Oréal Prodigy

The popularity of the new product lies in the absence of ammonia. Coloring occurs due to micro-oil contained in the paint. L'Oreal specialists claim that this component dyes hair from the inside. Eighteen shades of the palette are distinguished by natural color, including blonde, copper, brown and black tones.

Preference Ombres

Creating a smooth transition of shades on the hair is the main difference between the Preference Ombres line. Typically, dark roots naturally flow into light ends. The coloring agent contains ammonia. With the help of the innovative product L'Oreal Preference, the palette of which includes three colors, you can create smooth transitions on your hair. Red is achieved using chestnut and dark chestnut, copper transition is possible using light brown and chestnut shades, light is achieved with light brown and light brown color.

It's not difficult. It is enough to apply the emulsion with a special comb and then wash it off with the shampoo that comes with the paint.

Casting Sunkiss Jelly

Unique products are lightening gels that do not contain ammonia. They help your hair look sun-bleached. Special substances lighten the strands by several tones.

Hydrogen peroxide, however, is a component of paint, so experts included special oils and polymers in the product that are aimed at protecting against the aggressive effects of peroxide and color loss.

Preference Glam Lights

Preference Glam Lights dye came to the aid of fans of highlighted hair. A special comb allows you to achieve a professional effect and highlight individual strands. However, such curls are not striking.

The shampoo included in the coloring set, due to its lightening properties, makes the transition between shades quite soft. The paint palette contains only light brown and chestnut shades.

Recital Preference

The color palette includes thirty-two exquisite colors. It is not possible to identify the main tones, since shades of paint are diverse.

In this line you can find light brown and, stop at red and copper and decide to dye your hair in an eggplant or amber tone. A separate direction, Preference Feria, successfully combines the whole range of red.

The paint copes excellently with gray hair, maintaining the original color for eight weeks. The caring balm included in the kit is presented in large quantities. Paint is applied using the usual method.

Separately, this line highlights an ammonia-free platinum ultra-blonde, after application of which the curls become cold white due to lightening with up to eight tones of paint. The yellow tint is eliminated by a special balm.

  1. Set the tone of your hair as accurately as possible. Natural color plays a big role in creating a particular shade. For example, the light brown tone of the L'Oreal hair dye line can give your hair a completely different color.
  2. All necessary information indicated on the packaging, so please read its contents carefully. The world-famous L'Oreal Paris company will not allow any non-compliance or harm to the health of its customers.
  3. It is equally important to determine your color type, which will help you most accurately select one that is in harmony with in a general way shade. For example, ladies with pale skin are contraindicated in dyeing using dark shades"Black Vanilla", "Dark Brown" or "Iced Cocoa".
  4. If the problem is choosing a tone, give preference to the lightest one.
  5. There is no need to rush to purchase permanent paint; if the shade is being used for the first time, you can buy a semi-permanent product that can be easily washed off.
  6. When deciding to dye your hair, do not change the color radically. To begin with, you should try to tone the color a couple of tones.
  7. It should be taken into account that gray hair creates a lighter shade when dyed.
  8. Each type of hair has its own time for aging the dye.
  9. Before dyeing, do a simple test to ensure there are no allergic reactions, and after the procedure, take care of your hair with special cosmetics.

As it happens with us girls, I recently had the urge to urgently paint myself. It was impossible to go to get my paint, which I always try to buy from the same store, but here we were wandering around Auchan, and my eyes came across all this colorful splendor, and I couldn’t resist. L'Oreal paint ended up in the cart only thanks to a shade that more or less suited me:

I didn’t want to completely dye my hair, but to refresh my hair a little. light brown color with a redhead. And color dark brown shade number 600 on the packaging of L"Oreal paint is very similar to my original one, which by the time of dyeing, of course, had already washed off and became a little paler and duller, and the roots, of course, had grown back. In general, we'll see what happens.

We open the box and find all this splendor in it:

First of all, of course, I am interested in the coloring cream and developing milk:
As you can guess, we don't need extra dishes to thin the paint. The cream is squeezed out of the tube into a bottle of milk, then the bottle is shaken thoroughly to mix and voila, you are ready to start. Convenient application - this was the first joyful moment.

The second pleasant surprise was the tube with the coloring cream itself. The paint squeezed out of it without any problems and almost completely; I simply rolled it up from the top seam to the hole. For comparison, I’ll remember my previous paint. I usually use professional Londa Color and its tubes are so hard that squeezing everything out of them is a serious problem. Therefore, on your hair middle length I usually take two packs of Londa Color. And with L"Oreal, even one package was more than enough for me. The paint turned out to be very economical.

And thirdly, the smell. I started coloring and did not immediately realize that there was no overwhelming aroma. I didn’t even pay attention to the fact that the paint is ammonia-free - you never know what they’ll write on. But the paint really not only doesn’t stink, but even smells nice.

But my greatest joy is this balm:

Not only is it with royal jelly, but the volume is impressive. Do you remember these samples with balm in other colors? Which at first you can’t open with wet, slippery hands, then you squeeze out and squeeze out the balm on your palm - the cat started crying. Personally, I often threw them away, except for the professional Londa Color balms, they smell like expensive perfume, it’s a shame to throw them away). Well, L'Oreal has a balm in a convenient package and an impressive volume, and it also smells like that! Mmm, how it smells... I had associations with childhood, when we ran into the forest in the summer for raspberries and in the heat of the sun The clearing smelled intoxicatingly of berries and honey-bearing flowers, over which the bees were buzzing.

And finally, important details - instructions and gloves:

As for the gloves, I really liked them from L'Oreal. They are quite dense and small, right on the hand. Before that, I came across thin and huge ones that could fit three of my hands. I hate it and use ordinary medical ones. Unfortunately, gloves from L"Oreal I didn't take pictures anymore, so take my word for it)). But there is one small nuance: the gloves are for a fairly small hand, and if you have a chubby palm, then there may be problems with pulling it on. And they turned out to be right in my hand.

The instructions are detailed, with pictures, but in principle standard:

And about the bottle:
Do you see the nose? I forgot to break it off, but the instructions mention this. My bottle didn’t burst, although it could have, so it worked out fine, but the paint came out with some difficulty. So don't repeat my mistakes and don't forget about it.

Well, my paint is ready, let's start the experiment.

I already mentioned the smell, it is quite pleasant. The consistency of the paint itself is also very convenient, not very liquid, does not flow, but not particularly thick either. It is rather creamy and spreads very well through damp(!) hair. I smeared it on, used a cotton swab to remove excess paint from the skin, which had previously been smeared with cream - as a result, my skin was left clean, the paint was wiped off well.

After I had completely applied my makeup, spending probably 10-15 minutes on the process, I timed another 20 minutes and went to wash off the paint.

Here is some alarming moment. A fair amount of hair came off while washing. Since reducing the volume won't hurt me, I wasn't too worried. But if you value every hair of yours, then perhaps use this dye with caution.

But, on the other hand, the paint is easily and quickly washed off. And the balm made combing very easy.

I take pictures of still wet hair:

The color has not yet started to play, but there seems to be a resemblance to the original)

My hair is dry, I catch daylight, but there is no sun:

This is the most realistic photo that conveys the resulting color. And the roots are dyed well and evenly, do not differ from the main length of the hair. But in fact, in the sun and under electric light, the color looks much more interesting:

I especially like it in the sun:
My ineradicable redhead is visible, but without redness, in general, just how I like it.

Well, in a careless hairstyle a la artistic disorder:

Chumacheche different colors)).

Now the most important thing is my feelings after dyeing:

Day one is also painting day. I like my hair, it’s shiny, soft and light, when it dries it lays down in soft curls and is quite manageable. The smell of paint is felt from the hair, but not the pleasant one that was during dyeing or washing with balm, namely the paint. The smell is almost the same as other paints, ammonia or not. But it is not strong and does not cause much discomfort.

Second day. It’s a little more difficult - the hair gets frizzy. And in addition to large, pretty curls, there is a halo of small curls around the head. I really don’t like this, but I have this problem with absolutely all paints until the next wash. You have to do some kind of hairstyle; you don’t look good with your hair down. I'm glad that my hair is still soft and light. The smell of paint remained.

Day three. Usually on this day, after coloring, my hair becomes heavier, becomes harsh and dry, that is, it requires repeated washing. But lo and behold, my hair is still as soft, thanks to the balm from L'Oreal, although the ends of my hair are noticeably drier. I put off washing for another day.

Day four. In principle, everything is fine, but the hair is already thirsty for water and the ends of the hair are noticeably dry. I conclude that it is best to combine hair coloring with L'Oreal with a trip to the hairdresser and cut off the dry ends.

First wash after dyeing. The paint does NOT wash off, the water is absolutely clear. I wash my hair with my own products, without using balm from L'Oreal. I'm a little afraid of another hair loss, I probably won't survive the second one, but everything works out, the bare minimum is lost. I dry my hair naturally and it's soft again to the very ends. The smell of paint disappeared. The next day the hair behaves well, more manageable than immediately after dyeing.

At the same time, I did not use any additional styling products, so as not to violate the purity of the experiment.

To summarize, I will highlight the main pros and cons:

Convenient packaging
+ efficiency
+ paint smell without ammonia
+ convenient coloring
+ the balm is wonderful and there is a lot of it
+ gloves are very comfortable

Hair loss, alas, it exists
- the smell of dye on the hair after dyeing

And in conclusion, I liked the L "Oreal paint, I will buy it, but given the first minus, I will not use it all the time, but still alternate it with my paint. Five, but weak, let's say eight out of ten.

Review update (a month later):

Overall, I was satisfied with the dye; it is, of course, washed off from the hair and the original shine is lost, of course, there is no question of any 28 uses of shampoo. And since the color I chose is close to the natural color and my natural color, in my case it is not very noticeable. Therefore, I still recommend this dye to those who are not going to radically change their hair color, but just want to refresh it a little - L'Oreal dye is quite suitable for these purposes.

*
Review addition (after 1.5 months):

Finally I finish my review and provide photos for comparison. Immediately after staining and after 1.5 months:

The color, of course, has lost its saturation, and the shine is no longer nearly as intense. But in my opinion, for 1.5 months the result is very decent. The regrown roots are practically invisible along the parting line, but this is because the color is close to natural.

Well, in the next photo the difference is even more visible:

My final verdict: I will use this paint.

Most representatives of the fair sex are familiar with the L'Oreal hair color palette.

Thanks to the excellent quality and wide range of shades, the products of this French company are loved by millions of women around the world.

The Loreal company has released six types of cosmetic products for coloring strands.

These are the following paints: airy “L’Oreal sublime MOUSSE”, gentle “L’Oreal Excellence”, innovative “L’Oreal Preference”, soft “L’Oreal CASTING” Creme Gloss"and the incredibly durable LOREAL PROFESSIONNEL MAJIREL." The cosmetic product "Mazhirel" was produced recently.

It is for girls who value their beauty and add a “zest” to it that L’Oreal specialists came up with the “Sublime MOUSSE” paint formula.

The first batch of these cosmetic products appeared on store shelves in the spring of 2011.

The hair color product, called Sublime MOUSSE, has a foamy texture, which was new five years ago.

Today, almost all paint manufacturers produce products with a mousse consistency.

Since the consistency of the dye is similar to a light airy mousse, it is perfectly distributed over all curls, and the color turns out clean and rich.

The fact that innovation was used during the development of this product is not the only plus. Women are advised to dye their curls with this dye because it is very easy to use.

The convenience of coloring with Sublime MOUSSE lies in the fact that the developer and coloring composition are in one bottle.

They mix as you spin this little bottle, turning into a foamy substance.

The resulting mousse foam is easier to apply to the strands than paint with a cream or gel-like texture.

It does not drip onto the forehead and neck. When using it, the hair acquires the same beautiful natural shade as when using permanent coloring compounds.

This paint is often confused with another product from L'Oreal - CASTING Creme Gloss.

But there is absolutely no ammonia in Casting Cream Gloss, whereas Sublime MOUSSE paint contains it, but in small quantities.

Thanks to it, the coloring composition brightens and covers gray strands well.

The shade palette of this line consists of almost twenty colors. The various shades shown in the photo are the most popular.

In order to be completely satisfied with the color, Loreal specialists recommend dyeing the curls in a shade close to natural, or rather, one tone lighter.

The most interesting shades of this line of paint from L'Oreal are mysterious black cherry, fiery copper, luxurious frosty nut and exquisite light blonde.

L’Oreal Excellence paint and its color palette

The package of L’Oreal Excellence coloring product contains 4 bottles: serum, coloring composition, developer and balm.

All components for hair coloring, except for the developer, contain caring elements that protect the strands from damage.

The serum thickens hair by smoothing cuticles. The coloring composition, supplemented with pro-keratin, which is beneficial for hair, does not have any harmful chemical effects.

The balm, which is applied after removing the dye with water, restores the strands and makes them soft.

The L’Oreal Excellence palette offers more than 20 shades, from which you can choose the one you like best.

The shades of this product for coloring strands are very diverse: some give a golden glow, others an ashy tint, and others an interesting “reddish tint”.

This paint from L'Oreal is suitable for every woman, since its palette is based on natural tones.

Women who are of a cold color type in appearance can choose ashy shades, and all those of a warm color type can choose pleasant golden tones for themselves.

This dye from Loreal contains a little ammonia, which provides effective coloring, as it opens up all the hair scales.

The dye is considered gentle, so it can be confidently used by women who have gray hair.

The color will last at least a month and a half. At the same time, due to the inclusion of keratin in the formula, the curls will not deteriorate.

The color scheme of L’Oreal Excellence shades can be represented in five groups. One group consists of the lightest color solutions, which includes tones numbered 10, 03 and 01.

The second group includes delicate light brown tones (including ash and gold), for example, colors 9 and 9.1, 8 and 8.1.

The third group is light brown tones 8.13, 7 and 7.1. The fourth group consists of chestnut and copper tones (there are six of them). The last group is represented by the darkest shades - 1, 3 and 4.

L’Oreal Preference paint and its palette

The most popular product produced by L'Oreal is L'Oreal Preference paint. The difference between this coloring agent is its gel-like consistency.

Coloring pigments are not washed out of the hair for one and a half to two months. The fact is that the molecules of the L’Oreal Preference composition are larger than usual, so the coloring pigments are securely sealed inside the hair.

It is precisely because of this property of the paint that it is preferred by women struggling with gray hair.

The palette of this product from the Loreal company is quite rich. It contains more than thirty colors. But it is customary to divide this color scheme into two parts. The “FeRia” group includes unusual shades.

Mainly, they are intended for bold red-haired girls. And the “Recital” group includes more down-to-earth, natural color solutions.

The palette of the L’Oreal Preference paint series includes colors such as “genuine amber”, “paprika”, “mango intense copper”, “irridescent blond” and so on. The entire L’Oreal Preference palette is shown in the photo below.

After transforming into a blonde using this product, a barely noticeable golden glow and luxurious shine appears on the curls.

Dyed strands do not lose strength, they become less brittle, since the color emulsion contains vitamins and protection filters.

The dye comes with a balm that should be applied after dyeing. It moisturizes curls that have been slightly dried with paint and helps maintain rich color and shine for a long time.

A small bottle of balm is usually enough for 2 or 3 uses.

L’Oreal CASTING Creme Gloss and its shades

Following innovation, the L'Oreal company produced a color emulsion completely free of ammonia. This product is called " Casting Creme Gloss."

Ammonia-free hair coloring products have gained popularity surprisingly quickly, although they appeared only recently.

Their special components allow gentle hair coloring for those who are doing it for the first time, and for those who want to significantly change their appearance.

Also, the Casting Creme Gloss product is perfect for girls who are growing out their natural color.

A coloring emulsion that does not contain ammonia will not harm curls weakened by chemicals. Even women carrying a child can use this paint without fear.

The composition of the dye is absorbed into the hair without negatively affecting the health of the strands.

All hair is enveloped in coloring pigments and useful substances, which form a barrier against the influences environment. The curls, covered with nutrients, become denser.

The composition of the coloring emulsion “Casting Creme Gloss”, similar to a cream, is unique in containing royal jelly. This ensures hair care and maintains its bright color for a long time.

This dye from Loreal perfectly covers gray strands. The resulting shades are natural. The color shines, the hair looks silky and soft.

The ammonia-free Casting Creme Gloss shade palette has 8 Radiant Blonde shades, 10 Ice Chocolate shades, 7 Dark Brown shades and 3 Very Dark shades.

The light brown collection will emphasize the delicacy of the image, the dark brown range will suit brown and green-eyed beauties, and the black color is the choice of a luxurious woman who attaches great importance to her appearance.

The shade palette of this coloring product from Loreal is more aimed at creating natural tones.

But all of them are distinguished by beautiful tints - caramel, cherry, plum and others.

The color will not fade for two months. When it begins to wash off, the difference between the regrown roots and the rest of the hair will be smoothed out, making there no urgent need to dye the curls again.

Cream paint “LOREAL PROFESSIONNEL MAJIREL”

Professional cosmetic products of the L'Oreal company are the product for coloring strands "Mazhirel" (or "MAJIREL").

This professional coloring emulsion “Mazhirel” is considered a very durable paint, since it contains elements that maintain color intensity - incell molecules and Ionen G polymers.

Hair dyed with L'Oreal from the Mazhirel Professional line looks incredibly beautiful and shiny.

This is facilitated by the complex of nutrients that make up the color emulsion.

A coloring emulsion called “Mazhirel” brings a bit of sensuality and grace to a woman’s appearance, thanks to its special shades.

Professional paints of this line, produced by Loreal, are designed to enhance the red tone or for highlighting individual strands.

The palette of the Mazhirel line is distinguished by its richness of tones. Hair coloring can be done in golden, copper, red, ash, pearl or plum tones.

Among the basic tones of “Mazhirel” there are shades of “dark blond deep”, “light brown-haired”, “very light blond deep” and “light blond”.

Among the ashy shades of the Mazhirel color emulsion, one can distinguish “super brightening ashy”, “super light blond”.

Chic tones from the pearl-plum collection - “light pearl blonde” and “super light pearl-ash blonde”.

A huge collection of shades of the Mazhirel color emulsion is shown in the photo.

The color obtained as a result of dyeing the strands does not fade for about six weeks. The product can be used both in the salon and at home.
