In cases where the child is asked to write a whole line of a letter, syllable or word, the adult gives a writing sample at the beginning of the line.
If a preschooler has difficulties, then an adult can draw two approximate lines, or put reference points that the child will connect with lines, or write the entire letters, and the child will simply circle them in a different color. Calligraphy should not be required at this stage of training.

Continue the sentence

How Mouse was naughty

Mouse Mouse was a terrible naughty boy. For example, his dad is going to hunt somewhere. He fumbles and fumbles through all the closets: looking for his slippers, pants, scarf and hat, but they are nowhere to be found.

Mouse! Where is my stuff?! - Dad asks menacingly.
- I ate them... Accidentally...
- How did you eat it? Oh, you naughty man!
- Why are you making noise? - Mom stands up.
- He was joking.
- Did you also eat your hat last year as a joke?!

Or the Mouse will climb behind the screen and rustle there: shur-shur-shur...

Cat!!! - Mom squeals, and she and Dad scurry under the closet.

Or he will tie a twine to a hose and pull it across the room.

Snake... - Dad whispers and, together with Mom, faints.
“This is not life, but a nightmare!” Dad is indignant.
- We didn’t play around like that in our time.

Lesson summary:

  1. Pronunciation of new words increases the preschooler’s vocabulary, develops speech and memory.
  2. Cell exercises develop fine motor skills of the hands.
  3. Riddles develop children's intelligence, ability to analyze and prove. Teachers use riddles when teaching children to increase interest during complex tasks.
  4. Poems influence not only the development of memory. It has been proven that if you learn a few lines every day, new neural connections appear in the brain and your overall learning ability increases.

Irina Gurova

Dear Colleagues! This material is a continuation of the previous entry on my blog. The main goal of the proposed game exercises is to teach the differentiation of sounds [zh] and [sh], which have articulatory-acoustic similarities. Speech therapy work on differentiating deaf and voiced sounds is very important, since most children with general speech underdevelopment have impaired auditory discrimination of phonemes. So, in oral speech this deficiency leads to substitutions and mixtures of sounds; in written speech it can manifest itself in the mixing of the corresponding letters when writing (“shuk”, “lozhad”, “mazhin”). Therefore, classes on developing the skills of differentiating sounds occupy a significant place in the system of speech therapy work.

The material is intended for use in pre-school groups.

Game "Telephone" ("Make no mistake")

Differentiation of studied sounds in syllables.

Equipment: telephone.

Children are asked to reproduce rows of syllables. Options may vary depending on the child’s speech abilities:

sha-sha-zha-zha

zhu-zhu-shu-shu

zhi-zhi-zhi-shi

sho-sho-sho-jo

sha-zha-sha-zha

zhu-shu-zhu-zhu

zhi-shi-shi-zhi

sho-jo-jo-sho

seam-shwa-zhva-zhva

reap-reap-shnu-shnu

Shmy-shmy-shmy-zhmy

it's bad, it's bad, it's bad

chew-seam-zwa-seam

whee-whw-whw-whw

squeeze-shmoo-shmoo-push

it went-it went-it went

"Speech therapy chants"

Differentiation of sounds in pronunciation.

Equipment: audio player.

Children first listen to small chants (Ovchinnikova T.S. Speech therapy chants. - St. Petersburg: KARO, 2006. - 64 pp., learn them, then sing them. The chants “Beetles”, “Bear”, “Giraffe” are used.

Game "Houses".

Differentiation of sounds by ear in words, development of auditory memory, quantitative concepts.

Equipment: blue paper houses, one of them with a bell, cups with beans.

Children listen to words. Having heard a word with the sound [zh], they put a bean grain in a blue house with a bell; after hearing a word with the sound [w], they put it in a house without a bell: tire, beetle, toad, cat, mice, iron, acorn, skier, car, airship... After this, the number of words with each sound is counted, and words with differentiated sounds are recalled.

Game “Giving toys” with the “Finger pool” simulator (made from beans).

Equipment: “Finger pool” (bean pool, small toys.

Children are invited to find toys in the “Finger Pool” whose names contain the sounds [w] and [zh], put them into two groups (give them to Mishka Shalun and Zhuna the crow).

Game exercise “Match pictures with letters”

Development of phonemic representations.

Equipment: task cards, pencil.

Children are asked to connect the pictures with the corresponding letters with lines and cross out the extra picture.

Game "Four Wheel"

Distinguishing sounds in words, working on a dictionary.

Equipment: subject pictures. In the future, it is possible to conduct a similar game without relying on pictures (by ear).

Children are asked to select a generalizing word for each group of pictures (words), and then find the odd one depending on the presence or absence of the sounds [zh] and [w].

– cat, giraffe, crane, ground beetle;

– jeans, jacket, hat, vest;

– cake, blackberries, porridge, ice cream;

- foal, mouse, hedgehog, bear cub.

Game exercise “On the contrary”

Converting syllables first, then words.

Equipment: ball.

The speech therapist throws a ball to the child and pronounces a syllable or word with the sound [w] ([zh]). The child returns the ball, replacing [w] with [f] or vice versa.

1). sha – zha

zhla - walked

2). live - sew

sting –

bait –

Drawing up sound-syllable patterns of words, typing or laying out words from letters following the analysis.

Development of skills of sound-letter analysis and synthesis.

Equipment: material “Word Scheme”, where the word is indicated by a long strip, syllables by short stripes of neutral color, vowel sounds by red circles, hard consonants by blue, soft consonants by green.

Children are asked to create a diagram of a word or two words (with the sound [w] and [z]). As children work with diagrams, the speech therapist suggests answering the following questions:

How many sounds are in a word?

Name all the sounds in order.

What is the sound [w] ([zh]?

How many vowel sounds are there in this word?

Name only the vowel sounds.

How many consonants are there in this word?

Name them.

How many syllables are in this word?

Why do you think so?

After analyzing the word, children lay it out from letters or print it in a notebook.

Game "Say it differently."

Development of the lexical and grammatical structure of speech (an exercise in forming adjectives from nouns)

Equipment: ball.

The speech therapist says a phrase and throws a ball to the child. The child returns the ball, forming a relative or possessive adjective, agreeing with the noun in gender:

chocolate cream – chocolate cream, etc.

millet porridge -

ski poles –

bear's den -

mouse hole -

horse tail -

hedgehog needles -

cat paws -

camel hump -

house with one floor -

house with two floors -

house with three floors -

Game exercise “Finish the word: “ZHI” or “SHI”?” (“Lifesaver”).

Differentiation of sounds in the pronunciation of words.

Equipment: a beautiful wand (“magic wand”).

The speech therapist pronounces the beginning of the word and touches the child’s shoulder or arm with a wand. The child first finishes the word and then reproduces it in its entirety.

Karanda - SHI - pencils, etc.;

cubs –

Graphic exercise “Make words”.

Acquaintance with the spelling “ZHI” and “SHI”, development of graphic skills.

Equipment: board, chalk. You can also do the exercise on cards with a pencil.

After the speech therapist explains the material, children are asked to connect the beginning of each word with the corresponding syllables and read the words.

“Connect the pictures and make up sentences.”

An exercise in composing different types of sentences. Development of thinking, graphic skills.

Children are asked to find connections between the depicted objects and, connecting them with lines or arrows, come up with sentences, for example: “A cat is a domestic animal, and a mouse is wild,” “The car has four tires,” “Lena dropped her pencil in a puddle,” “Toad.” and a green ball,” the cat wanted to catch the mouse, but did not catch up with it,” etc.

Game "Guess the word"

Development of auditory attention.

The speech therapist pronounces the syllables, the children guess what word will come out of them and call it:

Zha-zha-zha, ba-ba-ba... (toad);

Shi-shi-shi, na-na-na (tire);
