Natural cosmetic. Inexpensive but good natural cosmetics

Reviews of their products began to appear quite often on the main page and naturally I was very interested in this, especially since all the reviews were positive! So I started studying this site.

About Shop:

In short, if after a few years the offer has diversified and products have become more accessible, it is still difficult to distinguish natural cosmetics from semi or pseudo-natural and environmentally friendly ones. Armed with our magnifying glasses and brochure, we must always remain critical and vigilant.

But deep down, do we really need to make life more difficult? The best way to limit health risks and environment may be to remember the common sense “consume less and eat better.” In other words: limit yourself to a few well-selected certified products whose ingredients are few, clearly labeled and of quality. This is good: daily personal hygiene is not enough - in fact, the less we do it, the better the skin goes - remember that healthy image life, eating, sleeping and drinking well provides 80% good health skin and its appearance.

This is an online store of natural skincare cosmetics and decorative products (although who knows, maybe they will launch at least one line :)). The site presents products for body, face, hair and nails.

In principle, there is a large selection on the site, but this is still not enough for me, because... sometimes I like to sit a little longer and dig deeper, and then order. Here I quickly looked at everything and highlighted several products for myself.

With just the basics, you can cover the rest of your basic needs. To use them, there is nothing complicated: emulsify while using one or two drops of hazelnut oil with an amount of at least the equivalent of hydrosol rose, mixing them in the palm of your hand, and there you are with a cream Moisturizing minute! With a few more ingredients available in the kitchen or garden, you can come up with more sophisticated homemade cosmetics while paying attention to allergy risks and preservation concerns. Oil simply applied to damp skin does the same thing. . Only herbal ingredients are an organic part of the composition.

Placing an order:

I registered on the site in case there are any promotions or suddenly they introduce discounts for regular customers. Well, why not try your luck?

After we have added the item to the cart, we proceed to checkout, i.e. select the delivery method (in any case, it is a courier) and the payment method (for St. Petersburg there is payment in cash to the courier, and for other cities only payment by bank card or receipt). Since I do not live in a privileged city, the delivery was carried out by the DPD service (350 rubles) and I paid for the order with a bank card. I don’t know why, but I’m most afraid of prepayment (

The greater the proportion of herbal ingredients in the formulation, the greater the likelihood of increasing the percentage of bioactive substances, for example vegetable oils can be 100% natural and 100% organic. Are unnatural ingredients allowed? Even if the botanical names are not always clear, this is real progress for consumers, who thus have accurate information in full transparency. For components that make up less than 1% of the composition, they may be listed in the disorder. Another reason to choose organic!

Are organic ones effective? cosmetical tools? In traditional cosmetics, a low percentage of active ingredients is added to main ingredients that have no virtue. On the contrary, in organic cosmetics all the ingredients are active: vegetable oils, but also aloe vera gel and floral waters, which form the basis of the formulation, have nourishing, antioxidant or moisturizing properties. Consequently, the proportion of active ingredients in organic care is usually higher than in conventional cosmetics.

Deadlines:

I placed the order on 02/12/15 around 9-10 pm. I received an email stating that the order has been accepted for processing.

On 02/16/15 a message was received in the mail stating that on 02/17 the order would be transferred to the delivery service.

On 02/17/15 a letter with a track number from the DPD delivery service already arrived. You can track the parcel using the track. And a couple of hours later an SMS arrived with information that the expected delivery date was 02/19/15.

In conventional cosmetics, the active ingredients are often pushed forward. However, they represent only a tiny percentage of the composition. Therefore, to assess the quality of a cosmetic product, it is necessary first of all to examine its excipient. The importance of filler emulsion is the main recipe for cosmetic care. Conventional cosmetic products typically use two filler ingredients: mineral oils and silicone oils. Mineral oils are products obtained from petroleum products. As for silicone oils, synthetic substances derived from silicon, they give the feeling of instant product penetration.

02/19/15 at 10.20 an SMS arrives saying that the parcel will be delivered today and the courier will call 30 minutes before arrival. Half an hour later the courier calls and says that he will arrive within an hour, and after 10 minutes the doorbell rings.

My impressions:

In general, I am completely satisfied with the store. The prices there are not high, but I really want to believe that the cosmetics are natural!

They are very nice, but they are not biodegradable. Additives In addition to formulating and stabilizing the formula, conventional cosmetics are combined with excipient and active agents, additives such as antioxidants used to prevent oils from going rancid and emulsifiers, often harsh, used to create a harmonious mixture of oil and water. To prevent the spread of germs and avoid the risk of infection, conventional cosmetics manufacturers tend to overcharge their products.

Thus, far from being an inert product, organic cosmetics care is a product of life in connection with nature. What are the health effects of parabens? These preservatives are from petrochemical industry have been in the hot seat for several years. Always allowed in limited concentrations, but they are absent in organic cosmetics.

So, I open a box weighing 1.2 kg, and there is paper, it’s good that a piece of the can was visible

All 5 ordered products arrived safe and sound. Nothing leaked anywhere, etc.

Natural conservation methods. Organic cosmetics combine various methods to optimally preserve products in a natural way, without the addition of preservatives. Vegetable oils are well protected from air and light, and essential oils have antibacterial properties. All cosmetics based on vegetable oils and essential oils, such as anti-wrinkle oils, butters and massage oils, are naturally preserved in tinted glass bottles. This conditioning regimen is often used in organic cosmetics.

Do you want to use natural cosmetics, but are you afraid of going broke? Our review eloquently demonstrates that high-quality cosmetics can be found even in the category up to 100 rubles! And in order not to be unfounded, in addition to our experience, we asked two charming girls, owners of online stores in Moscow and St. Petersburg, Anna Morozova and Polina Nedviga, to talk about those budget funds that, in their opinion, deserve attention.

Moisturizers that contain significant amounts of water are more difficult to preserve. Manufacturers typically use essential oils for perfumes and improve product preservation, as well as “airless” tubes or disposable ampoules that protect the contents and limit product exposure to airborne and skin germs. All oil-in-water emulsions often require preservatives. The list allowed by the organic cosmetics specification is limited.

Why organic cosmetics does it feel thick on my skin? Conventional cosmetics are formulated with so-called film-forming or occlusive agents, which apply a film to the skin. As a result, vegetable oils and other active substances can no longer penetrate the epidermis. It usually takes a few days without synthetic skin products to reabsorb the natural ingredients. In the case of vegetable oils, they can be applied to damp skin to facilitate penetration.

Organic Shop Natural hand cream-oil “Indonesian SPA manicure”, 75 ml (98 RUR)

No miracles, but some softening and moisturizing of the hands, as well as instant absorption and a cool ginger smell for some reason. There is also a BDIH certificate - for all those who do not believe that natural things can be cheap.

Grandmother Agafia's recipes Organic toothpaste, cedar, 75 ml (98 rub.)

What's in my organic cream? Many natural ingredients with different properties from each other. Most of them come from the plant kingdom, some are by-products of the animal kingdom, and some are minerals.

Also called hydrosols or distillates, floral waters can be used as such on the face to soothe the skin after washing. They often form the aqueous part of natural cosmetics bases: creams, lotions, bio-lines. Hydrolates are obtained by steam distillation of all or part of the plant. Volatile, they are obtained by steam distillation at the same time as aromatic floral waters. The cool expression of the bark is reserved for citrus essential oils such as lemon or tangerine.

Previously it cost 50 rubles. It’s even funny to remember. Now it’s a hundred. And the packaging still bears the ICEA organic cosmetics mark. Previously, I admit, I would not have bought it. Now I bought it and am happy. In terms of its consumer qualities, it is quite excellent: the freshness, the smell and the feeling of cleanliness are all at the same level. Unfortunately, I cannot answer for the dental side of the issue, but there is not a single question about the composition and organoleptics of the paste.

Essential oils are not applied directly to the skin, but are diluted with vegetable oil. The fact that the rosehip is very orange indicates that it is not being diluted. Quality products must be extracted at low temperature and unprocessed to maintain all of its active properties. Living products, unlike inert materials, which are mineral oils, vegetable oils act towards metabolism and stimulate the natural protective film of the epidermis. Often forming the oil phase of organic cosmetics, they can also be clean on the skin: very rich in essential fatty acids, they have ideal nutritional properties for the care of the epidermis and tolerate essential oils perfectly.

Mama&Baby Universal baby cleansing wipes, 10 pcs. (RUR 22–35) and Natura Siberica Baby cleansing wipes, 10 pcs. (53 rub.)

After reading the ingredients of wet wipes that are sold in a regular supermarket, I decided to switch to baby wipes.

I like Siberika better for its unobtrusive scent, but, on the other hand, Mama&Baby is cheaper, it also doesn’t dry out the skin and cleans your hands well when you can’t wash them.

Their thick and smooth consistency makes them interesting materials to work with in cosmetics. They are super rich, anti-free radical and emollient and have very beneficial properties for skin. True biological sponges capable of synthesizing trace elements, mineral salts, vitamins, pigments or iodine, these chlorophyll plants have an important remineralizing ability. After releasing the active principles of the flowers, the mixture is pressed, filtered and decanted. After this period, the mixture is decanted and then passed through, expressing all the juice contained in the plant.

Natura Siberica Exfoliating facial scrub, 150 ml (224 RUR)

Its active substances such as potassium, calcium, magnesium and sodium are very beneficial for skin health. There are several types, including kaolin, also called white clay or ghassoul. The cosmetic success of clay lies in the combination of various active properties associated with great ease of use and application. Excellent for draining organic and mineral impurities and cleansing the skin, clays are used as a thickener and binder in many cosmetics such as natural shampoos, creams and toothpastes.

This scrub once saved me from the wild peeling of the skin that overtook me in Germany in the midst of the largest European bioexhibition BioFach. I looked terrible - I was all in husks, there was nothing with me, and there was no hope for German stores closing exactly right after the end of the exhibition.

She ran to the Natura Siberika stand and asked for “something for peeling.” The company's chief technologist Alexander Stukalin gave me this scrub, intended for oily and combination skin. I would never buy it myself, because my skin is sensitive and dry! But the scrub saved me then and has saved me more than once since then. An excellent functional product that does not injure the skin. 5 points, no compromises.

They build the walls of their hive to seal cracks and protect themselves from disease. Its complexity and richness are such that we do not yet know all its components chemically. Its active ingredients improve blood circulation, nutrient supply and epidermal regeneration. Each animal species produces its own milk.

What tests are organic cosmetics subjected to? Organic cosmetics are subject to the same rules as conventional cosmetics. Proof testing or testing tests test the stability and purity of a product's microorganisms under various temperature and hygrometric conditions. They can simulate the behavior of pathogenic or non-pathogenic bacteria, yeast, mold or viruses, determine the effectiveness of packaging and check the expiration date indicated on the packaging. Skin tolerance tests carried out on volunteers in organic cosmetics ensure that the product does not cause any problems on the skin.

Natura Siberica Baby shampoo “Easy combing”, 250 ml (227 RUR)

This shampoo, aimed at children, is an excellent product for the whole family. It contains an antistatic agent approved for use in natural cosmetics, thanks to which the hair of not only a tender three-year-old, but also a thirty-three-year-old mother, exhausted by ammonia and hydroperite, will become not only fresh and clean, but also completely combable. Indispensable when traveling: one bottle for the whole family.

Finally, optional efficacy tests allow manufacturers to claim results, especially in advertising. Why are organic cosmetics not foamy or little? Manufacturers of organic cosmetics are limited in the use of surfactants, these additives that leach products. Likewise, organic shower gels and shampoos often produce fewer bubbles than their conventional cosmetic counterparts. Does this mean they wash their face less? The first thing you ask for toothpaste or shampoo is to wash your teeth or hair properly.

Organic People Liquid cream soap Classic olive Nourishing, 500 ml (189 RUR)

I buy liquid soap for the kitchen, because, in general, I am a fan of bar soap. This soap has a pleasant and unobtrusive smell that does not remain after washing your hands, which is important when cooking. It cleans gently, perhaps for the kitchen I would like something “more brutal”, but on the other hand, the price plus it does not dry out your hands. A worthy product in every sense.

But the amount of foam does not indicate anything about the washing qualities of the product. To replace synthetic ingredients, organic cosmetics often use a blend of plant-derived mild surfactants such as sodium cocoyl glutamate or coconut oil glucocides. These ingredients are expensive to produce, sometimes up to 16 times more than other more irritating compounds, which explains the slightly higher price of organic hygiene products.

Why are the textures and smells different? As with toothpastes, organic day creams may surprise you at first. Their texture is often thicker and unusual. The reason is simple: waxes and vegetable oils used for the fat phase do not have the texturizing properties of synthetic silicones. The ranges of natural emulsifiers are technically more limited. But these creams perfectly nourish the skin and leave a feeling of comfort that lasts throughout the day. Plant scents are most often obtained from essential oils.

Little Siberica Children's bathing gel with linden and St. John's wort extracts 250 ml (227 rub.)

When the editor-in-chief of LookBio tried to persuade me to recommend some budget cosmetics, I moaned that my favorite cosmetics cost 800 rubles and more in Russia (euro exchange rate, what can you say...). Nevertheless, when I went to the bathroom, I found there was already a third bottle (third, Karl!) of children's shower gel. Actually, it was bought because I had run out of everything, and I didn’t want to spend money on something expensive.

I talked about this gel in detail. I just want to add that if you have sensitive skin, you like foaming products and powdery scents, then you will definitely like this.

Planeta Organica African anti-age body oil, 300 ml (RUR 327)

Not everything sold under the Planeta Organica brand can be considered natural. However, in this cosmetics there are also absolute pearls at the price of ordinary jewelry. Personally, I really like Black African Body Butter. An impeccable composition from the point of view of naturalness, a viscous but quickly absorbed texture and a smell that is intoxicating with its sharpness and unusualness... In the same series there is Thick Siberian Body Oil - the texture is the same, the aroma is simpler, but the effect on the body is just as wonderful: high-quality deep softening and moisturizing.

Planeta Organica Babassu oil, 100 ml (467 rub.)

For a couple of winters I successfully used this oil to care for rough areas of the body - elbows and knees. My child also really liked it, who loved babassa for its light sweet aroma and the fact that when rubbed the oil gives warmth (my mother’s hands rule here, of course). Well, I confidently declare that extremely dry children’s skin, thanks to babassu oil, endured the dry winter season much more calmly.

Green Era Solid shampoos, 55 gr. (380 rub.)

You can find fault with some of the ingredients of this Russian brand, but shampoos are not one of them. The rounds, similar to soap, contain cleansing ingredients and natural additives.

NONICARE Micellar water, 200 ml (380 rub.) and Moisturizing gel for washing, 100 ml (390 rub.)

Creams and serums from Noni have cost 500 rubles abroad, but you can still buy cleansers without breaking the bank. We especially draw your attention to two products: micellar water - recommended by Polina and one for sensitive skin and washing gel -.
